Don't call it a comeback!
Today the Miami Hurricanes take on the Oklahoma Sooners. The Hurricanes are unranked while Oklahoma comes in at number 5. Everybody is saying Miami is a year away, that OU is too loaded this year, etc etc etc...
Guess what? They are wrong! Today will go down in history as the day that The Canes served notice to the college football world that they are the true superpower of college football and the only question is when, not if, the canes start raking national championships again.
And this time, we won't just win one every other year like in our heyday. With Randy Shannon as head coach, we will begin to dominate college football by the likes of which have never been seen before. My prediction is, barring a catastrophic event, Randy Shannon will go down as one of the greatest college football coaches of all time. And it starts today!
